The family is keeping me!!

Well, Shea like my hair, but he keeps thinking there is someone else living with us now!! I think it is going to take him a few days to accept the change. Lexi just laughed at me and couldn't stop touching my hair. Drake said I looked funny and weird. I think he thinks I am wearing a wig!! So I guess the family likes it. They haven't kicked me out yet :)

I Have Brown Hair!!!

OMG!! I have brown hair and I THINK I am loving it. This was a big step for me because all I have ever known was blonde. It is a little scary but it is growing on me!! I will let you know what Shea thinks when he gets home from work. I am a little worried!!

Owatonna Aces!!

Shea has officially had his first Owatonna Aces Game!! He went 2 for 3 with a stand up double and a single. He is so excited to actually get to hit because it has been about eight years since he had the bat taken away at Southern Miss. I see in Shea that when you are passionate about something it never really leaves you. As they say "for the love of the game". We are so proud of him:)

Freezing Soccer Game MAY 16th

We had a soccer game this morning at the ever so early time of 8 AM. Not only was it just to early for sports but it was absolutely freezing. It was around 43 degrees but the wind blowing at 30 mph made it around 31 degrees. The humidity gets you in the south and the Arctic wind gets you in the north. I don't know what is worse. I think I would like the humidity because I felt as though I was freezing to death this morning. You know it is cold when you see people with ski pants and jackets on in the middle of MAY!?!?!?

Tired Drake!!

Drake was so tired that he fell asleep on the hardwood floor with his hand still in the bowl. This was just too funny. It took Shea and I a few minutes to stop laughing so that we could move him. He looks so precious!!!

Happy Birthday Lexi May 4th!!!!

Seven years old!!!! I can't believe it. It was just like yesterday, she was a baby and we were headed to Burlington, NC. My how time has flown. She is my big girl and I am so proud of her. She is definitely a sparkle in our family and the sunshine in my life!! I love you Lexi and Happy Birthday Sweetie!!

The Great Serengeti Indoor Waterpark

On Sat, May 3rd, we went to the Great Serengeti Indoor Waterpark! Lexi really loves this place because she can go down all the slides by herself. Although it was still a little chilly in the water, we had so much fun!!!!

Lexi's 7th Birthday Party!!!

On May 2nd Lexi had her 7th Birthday Party at Owatonna Gymnastics Club were she takes gymnastics. Alot of her friends from school and soccer came and they had a blast!!!

Lincoln Gray Soccer Owatonna, MN

A fun and chilly morning at soccer. There is no sweating while playing soccer up here. Gloves, hats, winter jacket and sleeping bags. Can't and won't leave the house without them. This was on May 2. As you can see the winter grass has turned green but our trees are struggling.
